Fifty years ago on August 28th Martin Luther King Jr. gave a speech on The March on Washington. The speech was called I Have a Dream. MLK was an African American man he believed racial inequality was wrong and, was harassed just as any other African American out there in the middle 1900's. He believed men, women, and children should be judged by who they are, and not by skin color. He was not race wasn't alone in this fight white people too had believed racism was wrong amd spoke and marched with the African Americans. The day Martin spoken he had not planned on saying his speech. Martin impacted us today in a great way. We now know that doing the right thing may be hard, but in the end its worth the fight. Martin may have played a major role in the end of racism, segregation, and inequality in America, but some still do believe their skin color is what sets them above everyone else.
